At Planet Possible, we’ve always been about more than just "providing a service." We’re about building a community where neurodiverse youth can truly thrive, explore, & grow. But as we’ve watched our participants embolden themselves & reach for more independence, we realised something was missing. Families kept asking us: “What happens next? Where can our loved ones live where they are treated with the same heart & care they get here?"
Well, you asked & we listened! We are beyond stoked to introduce you to our sister company: Planet Oasis.
Born from the same lived experience & family-founded values that started our journey, Planet Oasis is a registered NDIS SIL provider & Short Term Respite (STR) specialist. We’ve taken everything you love about Planet Possible, the responsiveness, the epic mentors, & the "home away from home" vibe, & expanded it into a dedicated living space designed for independence, choice, & absolute fun.
A Sanctuary in the Heart of Kilsyth
When we were looking for the perfect spot for Planet Oasis, we didn't want a "facility." We wanted a sanctuary. We found it in a stunning corner of Kilsyth, where the air is a little fresher & the grass is definitely greener.
Our Kilsyth home isn't just a place to stay; it’s a place to live. We’ve filled it with everything needed to thrive in your new stage of independence.
The Garden of Your Dreams
Let’s talk about the backyard, because honestly, it’s massive! We believe that movement & fresh air are the keys to a happy heart. That’s why we’ve decked out the outdoor area with:
A Huge Garden: Plenty of space to run, kick a ball, or just find a quiet corner to sit & reflect.
The Ultimate BBQ Setup: Because nothing says "community" like a weekend barbie with mates.
A Wood-Fired Pizza Oven: Yes, you read that right! We’re talking authentic, crispy-crust, DIY pizza nights.
Outdoor Sporting Equipment: Whether you’re into shooting hoops or a casual game of backyard cricket, we’ve got the gear to keep you moving.
Location, Location, Location!
While the house itself is a dream, the surrounding area is what makes Planet Oasis truly "oasitic" (yes, we’re making that a word!). We are literally surrounded by three different reserves. That’s three times the nature, three times the birdlife, & three times the opportunities for a peaceful afternoon stroll.
Need to pop to the shops? No worries. We are just 1.1km from the local shopping precinct, making it the perfect distance for a supervised walk to grab a coffee or practice those independent living skills. Plus, with easy access to public transport, our participants are never far from the action. We believe that being part of a neighborhood means actually being in the neighborhood, not tucked away in a corner.
Breaking It Down: What Are SIL & STR?
We know the NDIS world is full of acronyms that can make your head spin. At Planet Oasis, we like to keep things simple. We aren't here to use clinical jargon; we’re here to help your family navigate the path to independence.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Think of SIL as your long-term launchpad. It’s for participants who are (ready to move out of the family home but still need a hand with daily tasks. At Planet Oasis, our SIL support is all about choice & control. Whether it’s learning how to meal prep, managing a budget, or just knowing how to use the washing machine without making everything pink, we’re there to mentor & guide. Our goal is for every resident to feel like they own their space & their future.
Short Term Respite (STR)
Sometimes, everyone just needs a change of scenery. STR (often called STA or Short Term Accommodation) is like a mini-break or a "try before you buy" for independent living. It’s perfect for:
Giving families & carers a well-deserved break (rest, recharge & relax!).
Allowing participants to build social connections with like-minded peers.
Testing the waters of living away from home in a safe, supportive environment.
Whether it’s for a weekend or a fortnight, our STR stays are packed with activities, outings, & a lot of laughter!

At Planet Oasis, we aren't just "staff": we’re a team of mentors, big brothers, big sisters, & advocates. Because we are family-founded & operated from lived experience, we understand the sleepless nights, the advocacy battles, & the pure joy of seeing a breakthrough.
We created Planet Oasis because we couldn't find a level of care that felt "good enough" for our own family members. We wanted a place that wasn't clinical or cold, but warm, vibrant, & slightly "out-of-this-world."

Planet Oasis is the next step in that journey. It’s where the skills learned in our Post School Day Programs or Independent Living Skills workshops are put into real-life practice. It’s a seamless transition from "learning to do" to "doing it for yourself."

Whatever you want! We love to explore, discover, play & create. From gaming nights to bushwalks in the surrounding reserves, the itinerary is driven by the participants.

Absolutely. Our residents & guests are never alone unless they want to be. We provide a safe, secure environment with mentors available around the clock.
