At Planet Possible, we’ve always been about more than just providing a service. We’re a family, founded on lived experience & driven by the desire to see our neurodiverse youth thrive, grow & prosper in a world that truly understands them. But as our community has grown, we’ve seen where the gaps are. We’ve felt the frustrations of families navigating complex systems & we’ve heard the call for more specialised, heartbeat-led support.

That’s why we are beyond excited to announce that our universe is expanding! Please give a massive, "out-of-this-world" welcome to our new sister companies: Planet Oasis & Planet Ability.

We aren't just adding new names to the letterhead; we are building a complete ecosystem of support designed to ensure no one gets left behind. Whether it’s finding a "home away from home" or finally getting the NDIS funding you actually deserve, we’ve got you covered.

Welcome to Planet Oasis: Your New Sanctuary for SIL & STR

Finding the right living arrangement isn’t just about four walls & a roof; it’s about feeling safe, empowered & independent. Planet Oasis is our NDIS registered Supported Independent Living (SIL) & Short Term Respite (STR) provider.

We are currently just awaiting that final "tick" of certification from the NDIS, but the doors are already open & the energy is incredible! We’ve designed our spaces to be epic, magical & inviting, places where participants can truly be themselves while building the skills they need for a big, bright future.

Our "Intro to SIL" Program

We know that waiting on an NDIS application can feel like a lifetime. That’s why we’ve launched our Intro to SIL program! This is specifically for those who are currently in the middle of their application process & want to start building their independence right now.

• The Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 9:00am.

  
  

• The Vibe: Stay at the house overnight, practice daily living skills & enjoy the community of peers.

  
  

• The Routine: After a healthy breakfast & a great night’s sleep, participants head off to their normal Day Programs to continue their social & skill-building journey.

  
  

It’s the perfect way to "test the waters" of independent living in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Bringing Expertise In-House: The OT Revolution

One of the biggest shifts we’ve made recently is integrating Occupational Therapists (OTs) directly into our Day Programs. You might have already spotted some new faces around the place, but we also want to give a huge shout-out to someone many of you already know, Pippa!

Our OTs will also be offering 1:1 onsite services specifically for youth & young adults very soon! That means no more driving to external clinics or trying to squeeze therapy into an already packed week. Instead, they’ll work on individual goals right where participants already are, in the environments where those goals actually matter most. Having OTs on the ground while our participants cook, climb, swim & slide means we aren't just guessing what support they need. We are seeing it in real-time. This integration allows us to:

• Identify sensory triggers as they happen.

  
  

• Adapt activities on the fly to promote better engagement.

  
  

• Build genuine relationships between the therapist & the participant.

  
  

• Support youth & young adults with personalised 1:1 onsite therapy.

  
  

• Teach support workers how to best assist participants in daily activities so progress continues beyond each OT session.

  
  

Introducing Planet Ability: Assessments That Actually Tell Your Story

We’ve heard the horror stories. We know the frustration of spending thousands of dollars on a clinical report, only for the practitioner to have spent a single hour with your child, or worse, just a quick Zoom call. How can they possibly understand the nuances, the triumphs & the specific challenges of your family in sixty minutes?

Planet Ability is our answer to that frustration. Launching soon, this sister company will focus on assessments, SIL applications & assisting with NDIS reviews & funding. We’ll be handling everything from NDIS review reports & Functional Capacity Assessments to SIL applications, providing the evidence, documentation & reporting needed to help secure the right funding.

Why We’re Doing it Differently

We believe that the best evidence comes from the people who know the participant best. Because our OTs are working within our programs daily, they have access to daily case notes, real-life observations & a deep personal connection.

When Planet Ability writes a report, it isn't based on a snapshot; it’s based on a feature film of that person’s life.

To make things even more robust, our OTs will be consulting with an NDIS specialist who knows the guidelines back to front. We’re talking about someone who can recite the legislation in their sleep! This ensures we can:

• Navigate every "back-end trigger" that usually stalls applications.

  
  

• Identify & utilise "loopholes" that benefit the participant.

  
  

• Ensure the language used in every report is exactly what the NDIS needs to see to approve the necessary funding.

Absolutely! Planet Oasis & Planet Ability are designed to wrap around our existing Post School Programs & School Holiday Programs.

Do we have to use Planet Ability for our assessments?

Not at all! We offer choice & control. But if you’re tired of impersonal reports & want the benefit of our daily insights, we’re here for you.
